We celebrated the beginning of October with an apple cider social and the delightful smell of autumn in the air.  Our student, Angelica, led a craft creating autumn sun catchers which was enjoyed by many.

The following week, we invited guest speakers from the Waterloo Regional Police and Fire Department to answer our questions about scams and fraud, and fire safety procedures to be mindful of.

Our very own, Chris Koller, provided valuable information on the aging journey and aging in place options available at the Village at out first information session, which will be happening quarterly moving forward.

We celebrated new residents at the Village with our New Resident Meet ‘n Greet. It was wonderful to bring our community together and get to know each other and learn about what brought our residents to the Village.

Prosit! was the word of the evening at our Oktoberfest celebration with the Hofbrau Band. Halloween celebrations were held at the end of the month with one of our favourites, the Dynamic Duo. Residents on the Memory Care floor prepared some tasty treat bags for visitors at the front desk for that spooky day.
